6-Hours Bottom Trolling Fishing in Salento

During the trip you will have stops for swimming in picturesque beaches where the crystal clear waters of the Ionian and Adriatic seas converge. This type of fishing takes place in depths that can vary (up to 25 metres) with a pace of about one knot. The fish you will catch can vary from amberjacks, toothpicks, groupers, ducts, skipjack and bluefish.

The boat is a Sea Fox 287cc, measuring 8 meters in length and powered by a 300 hp engine, with an additional 25 hp auxiliary engine. Participants can track the fuel consumption and the status of the “live tank” using the computer on board. The boat is equipped with professional-grade Garmin 92sv and Ecomap 8410 xsv depth sounders to accurately scan the seabed and locate the best fishing spots.

NOTE: Keeping the catch depends on the season, species targeted, and local laws. Baits used according to the period: sardines, squid, prawns, baby octopus etc. Fuel can generally range from 50 EUR to 80 EUR (based on the miles travelled and sea conditions) and is not included in price.
